T-Max -Tell Me What The Truth Is / Bless The Apparatus

The Chicago / Boston connection continues the legacy of great boom-bap hip-hop. This is our 5th release on the label and we're proud on how dope this record is. This record is a global unification of talent.

T-Max first appeared on wax in the mid 90's during the golden era of independent hip hop and has remained true to it all these decades. Class is in session on this project.

Production on this record features

Branesparker of The Freestyle Professors (Bronx NY)
DJ Tren-Street Wyze (France)
DJ Diamond Kut (Chicago)
DJ 3rd Rail & Padawan (Chicago)

A-Side

Tell Me What The Truth Is, breaks down the truth about life. We can all relate to the story T-Max spits. The original version is produced by DJ Tren from Street Wyze and hits the soul. The remix by Branesparker adds that Bronx flavor that just makes your head nod from start to finish. The last remix by DJ Diamond Kut shows you why he's part of the family. All 3 versions include instrumentals.

B-Side

Bless The Apparatus shows why after all these decades T-Max is still sharp on the MIC. The original version is produced by Branesparker and once again you're getting that raw dirty boombap from the Bronx. The remix by DJ Diamond Kut is that smooth laid back flavor with the rawness still mixed in. We call it "lime face" hip hop. The last remix by DJ 3rd Rail and Padawan just adds the finishing touches to this gem of a record. Once again all 3 versions include instrumentals.

All scratches are done by DJ 3rd Rail. This is more like a EP but we like to call it a 12" single with dope remixes. Since we're DJ's and have a weekly radio shows heard worldwide that keeps it strictly vinyl, we wouldn't do it any other way.

This record has been played strictly on Chicago's WNUR 89.3 FM- Chicago radio show Dedicated. Sun-Mon 12 midnight-5am CST Now here's your chance to get your copies of this sought after gem.
